07/03/2026:My bluetooth mini mouse and keyboard is pretty cool. Next time I enjoy a lifting session in the garage gym I think that will really enahance the experience.
07/01/2026:First I'm going to upgrade my battle station and eventually build a new PC. Then I think I might take the plunge and build a home server. Or at least invest in some kind of NAS solution. At least this is the mental project I have running in the background to keep my mind busy. One of the upgradesI would like to aggresively pursue is a SWEET keyboard and mouse. I think I might go with one with a volume knob and LCD screen, no num pad and swappable keys. Then I can jusify buying a Streamdeck or cool macro pad. I do want to pursue video editing again and make an awesome demo reel. Also my son wanted to make some Lego stop motion videos so I might go big on that project as well.06/30/2026:Not quite sure what the long term goal of creating an LCARS interface is. I could use it as a home page. I've just been wanting to do some cool computer projects and get my technology skills back. The other computing project I started working on was setting up a super cool home networking. I got Chrome Remote Desktop set up on my phone and tested it out before work for like two miliseconds. I don't like leaving my laptop running all day so I can't really mess with it at work. But I am thinking when I get to my second job this Friday I can turn on the laptop in between jobs then remote into it from my Dex setup at my second job. Then I can kind of have the best of Dex and working on a PC on my personal projects without having to lug my Xbox ROG Ally X around.
